Quechua word meaning "to come close together, to become close friends".

Formed by Peter Keelan (quena, zampona) in Adelaide, South Australia in 1984. Together with Chris Brocklebank (charango, guitar), Darius McCallum (pinkillo, zampona), Jaqui McBride (vocals, guitar) and Steve Sharrad (bombo, percussion), the group played the music of Latin America with a couple of original pieces by Chris and Jaqui.

The group recorded a self titled cassette, Cascacuy, with the following pieces on it:
